GEYER VALMONT has delivered this sophisticated, high-end workspace, within 259 George, tailored for a forward-thinking global enterprise and setting a new benchmark in turnkey workplace design.

A resilient, flexible foundation.

The primary challenge was to create a cutting-edge environment suited to the most discerning, global team, while remaining resilient to future macro workplace and market trends. By placing neurodiversity at the core of our design ethos, we crafted a flexible, inclusive, and adaptable space that serves as a blank canvas for an incoming, high performing business.

"

This project exemplifies the perfect blend of design acumen and functional intelligence that will allow a world-class business to walk-in and make it their own.
- Adam Mundy, Global Design Director, GEYER VALMONT

Evidence-based approach

Our innovative design approach addresses the diverse and evolving needs of today’s progressive workforce. We’ve drawn on insights from our extensive portfolio, confidently anticipating the needs of all stakeholders; from property owners to daily visitors. Our design prioritises human experience, crafted with consideration and expertise.

Raw concrete offset by warm, organic detail

The workspace features a warm, approachable design aesthetic that has universal appeal, whilst framing the building’s iconic concrete features, the signature element of the hero architecture.

The raw concrete façade, visible through the expansive glass windows, is embraced rather than concealed, becoming a focal point of the design. To complement, natural tones and curves are incorporated throughout the workspace, creating a beautiful juxtaposition and luxe design sensibility.

Inclusive space

Spanning 970 square metres, the space was thoughtfully planned to optimise the opportunity for both collaborative and individual work. Whether in meeting rooms, collaborative spaces, or the communal pantry, inspired by the best in residential design, all visitors to the space are invited to enjoy the 360-degree views of Sydney’s iconic CBD and harbour.

Eclectic and artful touches

Eclectic furniture selections were purposefully curated to inject playful moments into collaborative areas.

To address the acoustic challenges often present in open-plan offices, acoustic panelling was strategically designed to seamlessly co-exist with the high-end furniture and fittings. The bespoke panels resemble works of art as well as being highly functional to enhance team productivity.

Flexibility and adaptability

The design allows for easy adaptation to the needs of incoming tenants, making it an ideal palette for modern offices. This adaptability ensures that the space can evolve alongside the changing demands of the workforce, as well as supporting various work styles and team configurations.

"

By being considerate of the building’s materials, we’ve created a signature workplace experience that emanates luxury.
- Cesar Valencia, Client Design Leader, GEYER VALMONT
