Designed for leading fintech company InDebted, this workplace balances openness and connection with the privacy and security essential to its business operations. Located within the same building as GEYER VALMONT’s Sydney headquarters, the project provided a unique opportunity to create a highly tailored environment that reflects InDebted’s progressive, people-first approach.
Guided by the concept of Balance, the design explores the relationship between confidence and comfort, structure and flexibility, and the digital and human experiences that sit at the heart of the organisations. Warm timber detailing, natural textures and a restrained material palette create a calm, welcoming environment that supports focus, wellbeing and meaningful connection.
Security was a key driver of the workplace strategy. A controlled arrival experience establishes a clear sense of trust and professionalism from the moment visitors enter, while a dedicated secure zone provides advisors with the privacy and discretion required for sensitive conversations. These carefully integrated layers of security are balanced with open, collaborative spaces that encourage knowledge sharing, teamwork and social connection.
The 500sqm workplace brings together a diverse range of settings, including focused work areas, meeting spaces, quiet rooms, podcast facilities and a generous kitchen hub that acts as the social heart of the office. By providing employees with choice and flexibility throughout the day, the workplace empowers individuals to work in the way that best supports their role and wellbeing.
The result is a workplace that reflects InDebted’s values of empathy, trust and transparency, delivering a secure and high-performing environment that puts people at the centre of the experience.
